Researchers have thought of putting anoles in experimental wind tunnels. Perhaps this is the next best evidence? Or maybe this was a setup? Either way, we can see the classic anole response to falling.

This one’s lucky, sometimes they’re unlucky and fall into those things.
Years ago one fell into the spinning blade of my window unit, the sound of it rotating around in there at very high speed horrified me and I’ve been paranoid about lizards and A/C units ever since. If someone would please invent a fanless A/C unit, I’d be much obliged.
