Hello Anolis network,
I’m interested in networking with fellow native Caribbean-based Anolis researchers (born in the Caribbean, working or worked on anoles). I’m one (from Trinidad), and thought why not reach out to those who follow Anole Annals. If you are a current or recent grad student, or also those who have moved up the ladder to PI, please do reach out if you want to. This is geared towards having general conversations about the work you have, or are doing, and perhaps how we can all help each other and fellow/future Caribbean-based Anolis researchers in some way. Looking forward to virtually networking!

Javier
Hey Renoir, I’m Javier, from Cuba. I’m currently working on anoles for my PhD at the University of Kansas. I’m interested in the outcomes hybridization and lineage persistence despite ongoing gene flow. There’s a classic case of hybridization between anoles in Trinidad & Tobago that I’d love to revisit. You can reach me at javiertorres@ku.edu to talk about potential collaboration on this or other topics.
Saludos!

Hey Javier,
Thanks for reaching out! I will send you an email.
Cheers

Hello Renoir,
I’m not as active as before in biological/ecological research on Anoles as was evident in submissions to TTFNC publications. But I do keep in touch with AA as with TTFNC to keep my feet wet. My e-mail address to all interested is raycboyce@gmail.com .
Hope the network gets off the ground.
Cheers,
Reynold
