Our Anole Annals header photo contest has elicited some rather spectacular entries. Narrowing the field to a manageable number of entries for voting was no easy feat and was achieved largely be excluding entries that were improperly sized. There were too many good entries to reasonably fit all of them into a single poll, so we’re going to vote for the grand prize winner of the signed book in two rounds. Here’s the first round:
More details on the contest after the jump.
We congratulate all entrants for their impressive photographic talents and would like to include all of the images up for voting in our header rotation. Although there will be only one book winning entry, we hope that the runners up will settle for the honor of having their images prominently displayed on this blog! Unless I hear otherwise I’ll assume everyone is OK with this; I’ll be sure to embed your name, copyright, and any other pertinent information in the image. We remind everyone that the photographs entered into this contest belong to the people who spent considerable time and energy obtaining them and should not be used without prior authorization from the photographer.
