    Awesome! So anoles have permeated the world of high art. Does anyone know if depictions of anoles can be found in the artifacts of indigenous people who first observed anoles?

      That would be really interesting to look into! I don’t know of any, but surely with their splendor, they must have been the inspiration for much artwork.
